MONTREAL -- Michael Gaudioso of Livingston, N.J., is the McGill University male athlete of the week for the period ending Sept. 8, 2019. There was no recipient on the women's side.

Gaudioso, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound catcher, batted .444 with five runs batted in and three runs scored as McGill won three games last week, with a 7-1 decision over Concordia (Sept. 4) and a doubleheader sweep over Queen's, winning 7-0 and 13-4, on Sept. 8.

The 19-year-old materials engineering sophomore had a .545 on-base percentage and went 4-for-9 with a pair of walks two doubles and a home run..
