McGill University Athletics

The McGill Varsity Sports Council (previously known as the McGill Intercollegiate Sports Council, or MISC) is made up of student-athletes competing on teams in the varsity program.

The objectives of the council are as follows:

To provide a forum for McGill's varsity teams and the athletes who participate on these teams, to express their needs, suggestions, and opinions relevant to the operation of the varsity program
To provide a communicative link among all varsity teams
To organize events that promote athlete involvement in the Montreal, McGill, and athletics community

The Council is made up of student representatives from each team, the athletics representative to the Students' Society of McGill University (SSMU) (non-voting), and a secretary (non-voting, selected by the staff advisors).
