The 22-year-old industrial relations junior registered a hat-trick, including the winning goal, and added an assist in a 6-4 come-from-behind victory over Guelph last Friday. The next day, she scored the shootout winner and added an assist in a 4-3 win over Queen's in the tourney finale. Vachon, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound junior forward on the men's hockey team, scored five points, including three goals in two games as McGill captured the Mustangs East-West tournament in London, Ont., over the weekend. The 22-year-old mining engineer netted a hat-trick, including the game-winner and added one assist as the Redmen rallied to defeat Waterloo 6-3 on Friday. He also contributed a helper on McGill's second goal of a 6-2 win over Western on Sunday. Prior to enrolling at McGill, Vachon played for the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs while studying at Collège College de Drummondville.

Both athletes will receive a gift certificate from Ye Olde Orchard Pub.
