MONTREAL -- The McGill University men's hockey team will continue their preseason with a lengthy bus trip to the Maritimes this weekend. They are scheduled to play at UNB in Fredericton on Friday and at Saint Mary's in Halifax, Saturday.
Both games will be webcast live at 6 p.m.
Eastern on
AUStv.ca. Live stats will also be available at the
UNB link on Friday and the
SMU link on Saturday.
The Redmen enter the weekend with a 1-1 record, after opening their 139th season last week with a 4-0 whitewash over Concordia and a 3-2 overtime loss to UQTR.
McGill is 1-9 lifetime against UNB dating back to their first rendezvous in 1979. Their lone victory was a 7-4 decision on Oct. 13, 1989 at McConnell Arena.
The Redmen have also struggled with the Huskies and are 0-4 lifetime. Their last meeting was a 4-2 SMU conquest at the CIS championships on March 26, 2010.
