MONTREAL -- Andrew Manson of Scotland scored 11 points as the McGill Redmen defeated École de technologie supériore 43-3 in RSEQ men's rugby, Sunday, at Collège Notre Dame.

McGill, which extended their undefeated streak to 10-0-1 since losing the 2014 league championship game, has won all four meetings against the Piranhas, who joined the league last season.

Manson, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound exchange student from the University of Edinburgh, converted three first-half tries and made a penalty kick. He added another conversion in the second half.
The Redmen carried a 24-3 lead into the intermission, on the strength of three tries and Manson's nine-point contribution.

Felix Grignon, a political science senior from France, scored a pair of tries, one in each half. Teammate Kyle Makischuk, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound economics junior from Toronto, scored a try in the 50th minute before successfully converting Grignon's second try four minutes later, to finish with seven points.

Economics freshman Alex Pantis of Beaconsfield, Que., opened the onslaught for the Redmen with a try in the seventh minute of play. McGill's other tries were scored by Sayf Al-Omaishi, a science junior from Markham, Ont., and Daniel Benaroche of Montreal.

Piranhas fly-half Tom Saurin made a penalty kick in the 31st minute to put his team on the scoresheet, narrowing the gap to 17-3.

The Redmen (2-0-0) visit Montreal (2-0-0) on Sept. 24, while ETS (0-1-1) next plays Concordia (0-2-0) on Sept. 25.
