SHERBROOKE, Que. -- Sayf Al-Omaishi of Markham, Ont. scored 10 points as visiting McGill defeated Sherbrooke 25-13 in RSEQ men's rugby on Sunday.

The contest featured seven tries but none of them were successfully converted.

Al-Omaishi, a 6-foot, 200-pound biochemistry junior, tallied his points on a pair of tries.Freshman Zack Hazan of Montreal, economics junior Kyle Makischuk of Toronto, and management freshman Jerome Neale of Singapore were the other try-scorers for the Redmen.

Maxime Ditch collected both a try and a rare drop-kick to lead the Vert et Or with eight points. Teammate Ibrahima Seye tallied Sherbrooke's other try.

Sherbrooke (0-3-1) next visits Montreal (4-0-0) on Oct. 8. The Redmen (3-1-0) host Bishop's (3-1-0) at Percival Molson Stadium on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
