Joe Enea tossed a one-hitter and
Rocky Hroch had two hits, helping McGill University to a 5-2 victory over University of Ottawa on Sunday at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Enea allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out five over six innings of work, while Hroch went 2-for-4 at the plate
Shawn English was charged with the loss for Ottawa. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
The Gee-Gees jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI double by
Mushashi Takara which brought home
Sam McIntosh. McGill went up for good in the fourth, scoring three runs on an RBI single by
Gabe Hamilton.
