MONTREAL --
Adriano Petrangelo of Montreal tossed a complete-game six-hitter as McGill toppled division-leading Concordia 4-1 in Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association, Wednesday. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound right-hander allowed just a first-inning run, then shut the Stingers out the rest of the way. Petrangelo, an anatomy junior, struck out seven and only walked two in six innings of work, throwing 102 pitches, 63 for strikes.

Rob Sedin of Sunnyvale, Calif., and second baseman
Jamie Fuoco of Pierrefonds, Que., paced the Redmen offence with identical 2-for-3 performances at the plate. Teammate
Sam Vandry-Groleau, a freshman infielder from St. Laurent, Que., went 1-for-3 with an RBI double.
Trailing 1-0 after the first inning, McGill tied it at 1-1 in the third, then added a pair of runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth.
Concordia starter
Sam Belisle-Springer took the loss, giving up two earned runs on six hits over five iinnings. He struck out six and walked one.
McGill, which improved to 2-3-1, plays the University of Montreal on Friday Sept. 25 at Ahuntsic Park. Concordia (5-2), will play a doubleheader in Ottawa on Sept. 26.
