MONTREAL -- Augustus Hill scored an impressive 24 points, including a hat-trick of tries, as the McGill men's rugby team devoured the Piranhas from L'École de technologie supérieure by a lopsided score of 74-5 at Percival Molson Stadium, Saturday.

McGill registered an astounding 11 tries in the contest which was the largest offensive output by a team in the league this season and the highest points by McGill since a 76-15 semifinal triumph over Bishop's on Nov. 11, 2012.

Hill, an exchange student from across the pond in Bristol, England, collected three tries, a penalty kick and three conversions.

Teammates Thomas Milne, a native of Singapore, and Christian Palmer from LaSalle, Que., tallied two tries apiece for the Redmen, with single tries being attributed to Sebastien Boyer from the Town of Mt. Royal, Que., Tal Schwartz of Toronto, Tom Tyler, also from England, and Thomas Stokes, a fifth-year senior from Vancouver, B.C., who also added one conversion. Rounding out the scoring was Kyle Makischuk of Toronto, with four conversions.

The Redmen led 55-0 at halftime and scored 74 consecutive points before ETS broke the shutout in the 77th minute with Philippe Menard coming off the bench to score a late try.

McGill, which sits atop the RSEQ's East Division with an unblemished 4-0 record, will host second-lace Bishop's (3-1) on Friday, Oct. 9 at Molson Stadium with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. ETS (0-4) will host Sherbrooke (0-4) in a battle of winless clubs on Oct. 11.
