COTE ST. LUC, Que -- Zachary Aaron went 3-for-4, drove in one and scored two runs as the McGill University baseball team quadrupled Concordia 8-2 in CCBA action at Trudeau Park, Tuesday.
Starting pitcher Rob Sedin struck out eight hitters en route to collecting the win. Sedin allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks over five innings.
The Redmen scored once in each of the first two ininngs, then added two more in the third. Rocky Hroch kicked things off with an RBI-single which cashed in Sam Groleau. McGill the exploded for four runs in the fifth on a fielder's choice, an error, and a two-run single by Alex Levis.
Concordia starter
Sam Belisle-Springer was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in 4 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
