MONTREAL -- Nicolas Monlouis-Bonnaire scored the winning try and Pierre Constantin added eight points as the Université de Montréal handed McGill a stunning 13-8 setback in men's rugby, Saturday, at Terrain Vincent d'Indy.

The result created a rare five-way in the league standings with each team owning a 1-1 record and marked Montreal's first-ever win in six attempts over McGill -- the eight-time defending league champs -- since joining the RSEQ men's conference in 2012.

Constantin kicked a pair of first-half penalty goals to give the Carabins and early 6-0 lead and added a conversion on the winning try.

Quentin Pradere replied with a penalty kick for McGill, narrowing the gap to 6-3 before halftime. Teammate Emeric Durand de Bousingen added an unconverted try in the second stanza, putting the Redmen ahead 8-6 before the heroics by Monlouis-Bonnaire.

The upstart Carabins (1-1), will host Bishop's (1-1) on Sept. 26, while McGill (1-1) travels to Sherbrooke (1-1) on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m.
