OTTAWA --
Rob Sedin went 2-for-3 with a walk, scored one run on a wild pitch and collected an RBI, leading the McGill University baseball team a 6-4 victory over the Ottawa Gee-Gees, in CCBA action, Sunday, at Ottawa Stadium.
The result extended the Redmen win streak to seven games, heading into a 3.p.m. nightcap against Carleton.
Justin Hii was credited with the win in relief of starter
Nolan Werre, who went four innings, conceding four earned runs on six hits with a pair of walks and a strikeout. Hii pitched the final three innings and allowed no runs, walking one and striking out two.
The game featured three lead changes, with McGill taking a 1-0 edge in the first inning, onlly to see Ottawa rally with a three-run second. McGill regained the lead in the next inning with three runs of their own, then added two more in the fourth inning.
Mitch Redshaw was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
