Rob Sedin went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, as McGill edged Carleton 2-1 to claim a doubleheader sweep at Gary Field in Trudeau Park, Sunday.
Combined with
Ryan Kramer's complete game, 3-0 one-hitter over Carleton in the opener, the two victories clinched first-place in the Canadian Collegiate baseball Association's Northern Division as McGill improved to 14-4 with two games remaining before post-season play. It was the third pennant in five years for the Redmen.
Sedin, who stroked an RBI single the third to tie the game at 1-1, cashed in
Adam Levis from second base for the deciding run in the sixth. Levis had singled and advanced to second base on a groundout by
Tyler Welence.

Tim Jones collected the win in relief of Redmen starter
