MONTREAL – Sarah Dubois of Edmonton, Alta., and Seth Obadia of Port Washington, N.Y., are the McGill University athletes of the week for the period ending Sept. 16, 2018.

Dubois, a 5-foot-8 goalkeeper on the Martlets soccer team, registered a 1-0-1 record, one shutout, a stingy 0.50 goals-against average and a lofty .923 save percentage in two games.  The 22-year-old chemical engineering senior posted a four-save shutout in a 0-0 tie with visiting UQTR on Sept. 12. Four days later, the fifth-year veteran saved eight of nine shots, leading McGill to a stunning 2-1 come-from-behind road victory against previously undefeated Laval. It was the first home-field loss for Laval in six years and ended McGill’s 0-11-1 winless streak against the Rouge et Or.
 
Obadia, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound attackman on the lacrosse Redmen, scored five goals and added an assist in two road wins last week. He registered a hat-trick, including two goals in overtime, as McGill defeated Ottawa 12-10 on Sept. 15. The next day, the first-year economics major, added two goals and an assist in an 18-2 victory at Carleton. Obadia is a product of Paul D. Schreiber high school who transferred to McGill this fall after playing for the NCAA’s Lafayette College,
