MONTREAL —
Lefika Noko of the McGill men's soccer team and
Mahalia Robinson of the Concordia women's rugby team, are the RSEQ university athletes of the week, presented by Go Pure, for the period ending Oct. 5, 2025.
Noko, a 19-year-old international management junior, is a native of Geneva, Switzerland. He scored three goals and added an assist for the men's soccer team, which swept a pair of key games over the weekend, winning 3-0 at UQAM and 5-0 over visiting Concordia. The 6-foot-4, 170-pound striker was named player of the game in the win at UQAM last Friday after scoring twice, including the winning tally, and adding an assist. Two days later, in the victory over Concordia, he scored once and assisted on another. Noko enrolled at McGill in 2023 from the Halifax Grammar School.
Robinson, from Fulford, Que., tallied 18 points in Concordia's 60-7 victory over Sherbrooke on Sunday. The fifth-year fullback had a pair of tries and made four conversions. She is enrolled in an independent studies program.
McGill athletes have now six RSEQ weekly awards this semester. The previous McGillians to receive the honours this season include football players Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald (Aug. 5), Mathis Pilon (Aug. 24), Mario Dellifraine (Sept. 7), Jerry Momo (Sept. 21), Philippe Bouthot (Sept. 21)
