RUGBY (w): Ravens fly past Martlets with ease

MONTREAL – Kaitlyn Cox scored 17 points and Mariah MacLeod added 15 as Carleton blanked McGill 75-0 in RSEQ women's rugby at Percival Molson Stadium, Sunday.

The Ravens amassed a dozen tries in the contest, to go along with six conversions and a penalty kick. It was Carleton's most lopsided victory since an 88-7 decision over Bishop's on Oct. 14, 2018.

Cox tallied one try and went 6-for-11 on her conversion attempts, while MacLeod registered a game-high three tries.

Lauryn Walker contributed a pair of tries while Vanessa Chiapetta added one try and converted another. Rounidng out the scoring with one try apiece, was Sierra Decries, Deleshia Dixon, Rachel Getz, Savannah Sketchley and McKenna Taylor.

McGill, which dropped to 0-2, will now face a return engagement with Carleton (1-1) on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m.
