MONTREAL -- Two members of the McGill University badminton team have been named as league all-stars in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec.

Hooman Bagheri of the Redmen and Brianna Wang from the Martlets were both named to the RSEQ second team.

Bagheri, a 27-year-old native of Montreal, is a 5-foot-3, 133-pound grad student working on a doctorate in human genetics. He was a double bronze medalist at the RSEQ championships in March, finishing third in both men's singles and doubles.

Wang, a 5-foot-8 native of Wellesley, Mass., is a 20-year-old science sophomore, majoring in pharmacology.
