MONTREAL – Four members of the McGill University Redbirds are among 153 draft-eligible prospects who have accepted an invitation to the 2026 Canadian Football League Combine camps to showcase their skills for general managers, coaches and player personnel, across two events.
The McGill group includes senior quarterback
Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald, who was invited to the national camp, and three others headed to the regional camp: running back
Jeffrey Amisial-Chatelier, linebacker
Ilan Barbaras and offensive lineman
Felix-Olivier Leclerc. A fifth McGill senior, defensive back
Jahnai Copeland-Lewis, declined an invitation as he has accepted a job offer in the business world.
The invitations include 110 players from U SPORTS programs, 38 from NCAA schools, three from junior teams and a pair of Canadians from the European Football League. Of the U SPORTS invitees, the 11-team OUA leads all conferences with 52 players, followed by the six-team Canada West (28), five-team RSEQ (18) and the five-team AUS (12). The Atlantic conference count includes two players from Bishop's, which is moving back to the RSEQ next season.
A CFL Invitational Combine is scheduled to be held in Waterloo, Ont., on March 6. The top prospects identified at the event will advance to Edmonton for the CFL National Combine presented by Anytime Fitness, March 27-29.
In addition to the attendees who advance through the Invitational Combine, the CFL Combine will feature the top prospects eligible for the 2026 CFL Draft, as well as the top global players hoping to be selected at the 2026 CFL Global Draft.
On March 27, participants will take part in the 40-yard dash, the 3-cone shuttle, the short shuttle, the broad and vertical jumps, and the bench press.
On March 28-29, hopefuls will strap on the pads and take to the field for two days of practices looking to leave a lasting impression on general managers, coaches, and scouts in attendance ahead of the CFL Draft.
The CFL website (CFL.ca) will have all of the results for each drill as well as insights and analysis to keep you informed throughout the Invitational Combine and CFL Combine.

MONTRÉAL – Quatre membres des Redbirds de l'Université McGill font partie des 153 espoirs admissibles au repêchage qui ont accepté une invitation aux camps combinés 2026 de la Ligue canadienne de football afin de démontrer leurs talents aux directeurs généraux, entraîneurs et recruteurs lors de deux événements.
Le groupe de McGill comprend le quart-arrière senior Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald, qui a été invité au camp national, et trois autres joueurs qui se rendront au camp régional : le demi offensif Jeffrey Amisial-Chatelier, le secondeur Ilan Barbaras et le joueur de ligne offensive Felix-Olivier Leclerc. Un cinquième senior de McGill, le demi défensif Jahnai Copeland-Lewis, a décliné l'invitation, car il a accepté une offre d'emploi dans le monde des affaires.
Les invitations comprennent 110 joueurs des programmes U SPORTS, 38 des écoles de la NCAA, trois des équipes juniors et deux Canadiens de la Ligue européenne de football. Les 28 et 29 mars, les espoirs enfileront leurs protections et descendront sur le terrain pour deux jours d'entraînement afin de laisser une impression durable aux directeurs généraux, entraîneurs et recruteurs présents avant le repêchage de la LCF.
