MONTREAL – Football player Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald of Montreal is the McGill University athlete of the week, presented by Restaurant Poulet Rouge, for the period ending Aug. 24, 2025.
A 23-year-old physical and health education senior from Montreal, he rushed for a pair of touchdowns, passed for another TD and broke a school record in McGill's season-opening 38-22 victory over Sherbrooke at Percival Molson Stadium last Friday.
The 6-foot-4, 196-pound pivot completed 18 of 33 pass attempts for 327 yards and rushed for 62 more on six carries. "ELR" now has 26 career TDs in 25 regular season games to break the all-time McGill record of 25 TDs set by Thomas Barbeau over 27 contests from 1975 to 1978. Latendresse-Régimbald is a product of Vanier College.

MONTRÉAL – Le joueur de football Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald de Montréal est l'athlète de la semaine à l'Université McGill, présenté par le restaurant Poulet Rouge, pour la période se terminant le 24 août 2025.
Étudiant de quatrième année en éducation physique et santé, âgé de 23 ans et originaire de Montréal, il a marqué deux touchés au sol, en a réussi un autre à la passe et a battu un record de l'université lors de la victoire 38-22 de McGill contre Sherbrooke vendredi dernier au stade Percival Molson, lors du match d'ouverture de la saison.
Le pivot qui mèsure six pieds, quatres pouces et 197 poids a complété 18 de ses 33 tentatives de passe pour 327 verges et a couru pour 62 verges supplémentaires en six courses. « ELR » compte désormais 26 touchés en 25 matchs de saison régulière, battant ainsi le record de tous les temps de McGill, établi par Thomas Barbeau en 27 matchs entre 1975 et 1978. Latendresse-Régimbald est un produit du Collège Vanier.
