MONTREAL – Five members of the Bishop's Gaiters reached double digits in scoring en route to an 81-59 victory over McGill in RSEQ women's basketball at Love Competition Hall, Thursday.
It marked the 17th annual Shoot for the Cure game and the Martlets wore a pink set of uniforms, instead of their traditional red and white outfits. This initiative, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research, has become a staple in the Canadian university sports community, bringing together athletes, coaches, and fans in the fight against breast cancer. Donations can still be made online via the
McGill women's basketball website link.
