MONTREAL – Defender
Emile Legault of Longueuil, Que., scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute of play as the No. 2-ranked Montreal Carabins rallied for a 2-1 victory over visiting McGill in men's university soccer action at Stade CEPSUM, Friday.
It was a rough and tumble affair that featured a combined 15 fouls and seven yellow cards. The Carabins took 10 of the fouls and four of the cards.
McGill opened the scoring in 10th minute of play when freshman midfielder
Nathan Yee of Richmond, B.C., connected on a one-timer delivered to him on a corner-kick from the foot of
Nassim Kemel, a midfielder from Algeria who played with the Carabins last year
But UdeM knotted the score at 1-1 when striker
Lohan Lefevre, a native of France, redirected a nice pass from midfielder
Adam Benmoussa who was stationed just outside the left flank of the box.
Carabins goalkeeper
Jordan Tisseur, a sophomore from Montreal, made a pair of saves en route to collecting the victory. At the other end of the field, Montrealer
