Thalia Krauth-Ibarz added a pair of late goals as McGill cruised to a 3-0 victory at UQTR, Sunday.

Brenna Bordeniuk, a science freshman from Calgary who has started in all three games thus far, turned aside five shots to earn her second career shutout for the Martlets.
It was the first victory of the season for McGill, which improved to 1-1-1 in the
RSEQ conference standings. The Patriotes dropped to 1-2-0.
Mazzarello, the team captain, connected on a penalty-kick in the 43rd minute of play after teammate
Alexia Remillard was fouled from behind, in the box,.by UQTR forward
Meredith Belanger. The 5-foot-5 cornerback stepped up and calmly struck a shot inside the left post, easily fooling Pats 'keeper
Florence Bilodeau, who guessed wrong. Bilodeau was credited with the loss, making two saves on five shots faced.
Mazarello set up the insurance goal in the 77th minute with a perfectly-placed corner kick from the right sideline. Her high arcing kick found Krauth-Ibarz on the left side of the net and she struck pay-dirt with a header into the right corner.
Krauth-Ibarz then converted a nifty, left-footed pass from Remillard, who found the charging forward breaking through the defensive alignment to ice the contest in the 83rd minute.
Next on the schedule, McGill (1-1-1) heads back on the road for a short jaunt around Mt. Royal, where they will confront the undefeated Montreal Carabins (3-0-0) at Stade CEPSUM on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. UQTR (1-2-0) will host winless Concordia (0-3-0) at the same time.
