LONDON, Ont --
Jennifer Silver scored a game-high 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the McGill women's basketball team cruised to a 55-46 road win over the Western University Mustangs at Alumni Hall, Friday.
It was third straight victory for the Martlets, who was playing their first game in six weeks since sweeping NCAA teams Seton Hall (80-56) and Akron (67-55) on Aug. 9 and 25, respectively.
McGill led 14-6 after the opening quarter, 26-19 at halftime and 44-36 after three before outscoring Western 11-10 in the ffinal stanza.
