TORONTO --
Kasey Boyle of Victoria, B.C., scored McGill's lone goal as the Martlets fell 2-1 to Western in OUA women's field hockey at the University of Toronto's Back Campus field, Sunday.
All three goals came in the first half.
Boyle, an international business sophomore, opened the scoring in the 10th minute.
Katie Newton tied the game for Western in the 25th minute and teammate
Sabrina Bradshaw put the Mustangs ahead in the 32nd.
Hannah Moore, an English sophomore from Chelsea, Mich., guarded the Martlets' goal. Western goalkeeper
Margaret Yu collected the win.
McGill (0-10-1) closes out the regular season against Queen's (2-7-2) at 12:30 p.m. this afternoon (Sunday, Oct. 23), while. Western (2-6-3) takes on York (7-2-2) at 2:15 p.m.
