MONTREAL -- Goalkeeper Hannah Boshari of Toronto merited a shutout in her first career contest as McGill blanked visiting UQTR 2-0 in RSEQ women's soccer, Friday, at Percival Molson Stadium.

Boshari, a 19-year-old Arts student who stands 5-foot-7 and transfered from UBC, made three saves to earn the clean sheet as the Martlets swept the season series against the Patriotes, including a 3-1 decision in the first meeting last month.

Tia Lore of Richmond, B.C., opened the scoring with what proved to be the game-winning marker in the 22nd minute. Teammate Olivia Lusterio-Adler, an elementary education sophomore from Beaconsfield, Que., added an insurance marker in the 79th minute with her first career goal in regular season play. She managed two shots in her appearance as a substitute and placed both of them on target.

Midfielder Claudia Agozzino of St. Leonard, Que., assisted on both goals.

Pats 'keeper Maria-Laura Crozes stopped five of seven shots in a losing cause. McGill had a 7-3 advantage in shots on net. The Martlets also held a 4-0 margin in corners and committed four fouls, to UQTR's five.

With five games remaining before playoffs, both sides play next on Oct. 16, when UQTR (0-8-1) hosts Concordia (2-6-1) and McGill (4-3-2) visits Sherbrooke (6-3-0).
