MONTREAL -- Audrey-Ann Coughlan, a sophomore striker from Longueuil, Que., struck twice and senior Daphnee Morency-Roussin of Boulder, Colorado, added a goal and two assists as visiting McGill spanked Concordia 4-0 in the RSEQ season opener, Friday.

McGill had a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal as 'keeper Cassandra Fafalios, a 5-foot-7 junior from Richmond Hill, Ont., turned side all three shots faced for the shutout.

Rounding out the scoring was team captain Rebecca Green, a fifth-year senior from Green Harbour, Nfld.

Concordia turned the tables in the men's game, blanking the Redmen 4-0.

McGill will host Sherbooke in their official home opener on Sunday (Sept. 13) with a doubleheader at Molson Stadium. Both games are late starts, due to the Grand Prix bike race (Park Avenue, above Pine will be closed). The Redmen game is slated for 4 p.m., followed by the Martlets at 6 p.m.
