McGill's Daphnee Morency-Roussin (#13) celebrates winning goal with Mary Jardin (#12)

MONTREAL -- Daphnee Morency-Roussin, a senior striker from Boulder, Col., scored the game-winning tally in the 36th minute as the McGill University Martlets blanked Toronto 1-0 and advanced to the Old Four Tournament championship in women's soccer at Molson Stadium, Saturday.

McGill, which dominated play from start to finish, had a lopsided 13-1 advantage in shots on net and a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Starting goalkeeper Cassandra Fafalios, a 5-foot-5 junior from Richmond Hill, Ont., collected the victory and made one save in 60 minutes of play to share the shutout with Kristen Hackett, a 5-foot-8 freshman from New Westminster, B.C., who played the final 30 minutes. Uof of T 'keeper Sara Petrucci saved 12 of 13 shots in a lsoing cause.

The Martlets are 1-0 in preseason play and will confront Western in Sunday's final, slated for 2 p.m. The Mustangs, also 1-0, advanced after a 3-2 victory over Queen's in penalty kicks. The Varsity Blues are slated to meet Queen's in the women's consolation game at 10 a.m.
