TROIS-RIVIERES, Que — The UQTR Patriotes scored in injury time to come away with a surprising 1-0 victory over visiting McGill in RSEQ women's soccer, Friday.

McGill controlled most of the game's pace, controlling the ball for 62% of the match. UQTR, however, took better advantage of their possession, sending five shots — just one less shot than McGill — the way of Martlets keeper Cassandra Fafalios.

Fafalios, a second-year Arts student from Richmond Hill, Ont., played all 90 minutes and stopped four shots, while UQTR keeper Gabrielle Lambert punched out all six McGill shots to preserve the shutout.

Martlets defender Zoe Fasoulakis of Vancouver, B.C. and UQTR's Marie-Laurence Ouellet were selected by their respective coaches as players of the game.

In their only other matchup this year, McGill defeated UQTR 2-0 at Molson Stadium on Sept. 25.
