LENNOXVILLE, Que. -- Six different players scored for the visiting McGill women's soccer team en route to a 6-0 rout over the Bishop's Gaiters at Coulter Field, Friday.
It was the third straight victory for the Martlets who had a lopsided 23-2 margin in shots and led 2-0 at halftime before exploding for four markers in the final stanza.
Rookie
Elisabeth Perrett tallied what proved to be the game-winner only 19 minutes into the contests. Other marksmen included

Victoria Muccilli shared the shutout with rookie
Cassandra Fafalios. Both were credited with just one save. Molly Bucholtz was saddled with the loss for Bishop's and was unable to muster on the six shots she faced.
Veterans
Carolyn Bell,
Selena Colarassi and
Rebecca Green each returned to the lineup after missing an extended number of games with injuries. Defenders Bell and Melanie
Desaulniers-Rioux were the only members of the team's starting 11 that played the full 90 minutes.
"The team is healthy again with the return of a number of injured veterans," said McGill head coach
Jose-Luis Valdes. "This gives us a more balanced lineup with some depth and we can now play at a high level for the full 90 minutes. Our player rotation is showing results now and this will be helpful down the road. I'm happy to see everyone contributing so that we don't have to rely on just one or two players."
McGill, which improved to 3-2, has moved out of the cellar over the past week and into fourth-place in the eight team RSEQ conference, one point in arrears of Sherbrooke (3-1-1). The Martlets will play at last-place UQAM (0-4-1) on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Bishop's, which dropped to 2-3 and slipped to fifth-place, will host Sherbrooke on Sept. 23.
