Martlet Indoor Soccer vs Montreal (Indoor; Home)
Tied 2-2 vs Montreal
MONTREAL --
Meghan Bourque and
Alexandra Morin-Boucher each scored in the final eight minutes as McGill opened the 2011 indoor women's soccer season in fine fashion with a 2-2 come-from-behind tie at the Marie-Victorin facility, Sunday.
"It was a typical physical and quality game with two teams trying to get their organisation back after a three-month break from the outdoor season," said McGill head coach Marc Mounicot.
"The Carabins were better and more efficient in the first half but the second half belonged to our team matching the intensity and playing more forward and with better purpose."
The Martlets play at Sherbrooke next Sunday.
