Biography
PRIOR TO McGILL: Williams competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in nordic skiing's 10 km freestyle and 15 km pursuit competitions. In the freestyle event (Feb. 15), she placed 51st with a time 27 minutes, 43.6 seconds (2:45.2 behind the first-place finisher). Four days later she was 41st in the pursuit race, finishing four minutes, 13.1 seconds behind the gold medal winner Marit Bjørgen of Norway.
Williams' best finish in the World Cup was 10th in a team sprint event at Canada in 2009 while her best individual finish was 22nd in a 15 km mixed pursuit event at that same event.
