Markens Valcourt, DB

 -          lost parents at an early age and was raised by four uncles

-          was an economics sophomore in 2018, but transferred his academic major into Industrial relations in 2019

-          earned a starting spot at boundary cornerback in 2018-19 and merited all-conference honours in 2019
