Igor Bojanic, a native of Dollard des Ormeaux, Que., returns for his fourth season in 2014 as the running backs coach after serving in the same position in 2012 and 2013. He began coaching with the Redmen as an offensive assistant in the 2011 season. He coached the 2009 and 2010 seasons at John Abbott College, when he previously played. At JAC, he served as offensive coordinator in his first season and receivers coach in his second campaign.

Bojanic began coaching with the Roxboro Raiders (Juvenile AA) as the running backs coach in 1996 and moved up to the Bantam North Shore Lions in 1997, where he spent three seasons with the running backs. He then took over as head coach in 2000.

In 2001, he joined the North Shore Mustangs, serving two seasons as a receivers coach, then switched to running backs in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

A North Shore product, he played for the North Shore Lions (87-88) and Mustangs (89-90) before moving up the CEGEP ranks for John Abbott and ending his playing days in junior with the North Shore Broncos in 1994 and 1995.

A resident of Dollard, he and his wife Heather have two children, Sophia-Ružica and Aleksandar-James (A.J.).  He is also employed as a structural engineer with Altitude Aerospace Inc. currently working on the Bombardier CL-415 Amphibious aircraft.
