Christopher Milo, a 37-year-old Montrealer, was part of Laval's coaching staff during their 2022 Vanier Cup season after spending five seasons as a coach in the CEGEP ranks (2017-2022).
During his playing days, he was a fourth-round selection in the 2011 CFL Draft and went on to a seven-year CFL career with Saskatchewan (2011-2015), Ottawa (2015-2016) and Edmonton (2017). He won Grey Cup rings with the Roughriders (2013) and RedBlacks (2016). Among his milestones was Saskatchewan record 28 consecutive field-goals in 2013 and a 108-yard punt for a single on Oct. 29, 2011, which tied the CFL record for distance.
During his collegiate years, he was four-time conference all-star (2007-2010) and three-time All-Canadian kicker with Laval, helping the Rouge et Or win two Vanier Cup national titles. He scored a league record 385 career points, which also ranked third all-time among U SPORTS scoring leaders. He racked up 69 career field-goals with Laval, including a single-season RSEQ conference record of 25.
