Biography
Jérémy Sauvageau, WR
- from St. Augustin de Desmaures, a small-town on the St. Lawrence River, just outside of Quebec City and rooming at McGill with a number of Americans from the varsity lacrosse team
- Just finished his junior year, majoring in finance with a minor in computer science
- Merited RSEQ conference all-star honours in his second and third seasons
- was an All-Canadian second-team honours in his sophomore year
- Over his three years at McGill, Sauvageau has averaged 19 yards per catch and 69 yards per game with five touchdowns in 19 career contests.
- started three times during his freshman season and in all games during his sophomore and junior years
- earned Team MVP honours as a sophomore
- won a Jean Beliveau Athletic Award in 2018, a $4000 bursary which recognizes McGill student-athletes for leadership in the community
- In the community, he has volunteered as a flag-football coach for the 2018 Commerce Games, as well as helping organize a "Nights of Eden" event at the Montreal Youth Centre Foundation.
