MONTREAL – Senior
Erika Bastien, an all-star striker from Repentigny, Que., scored in injury time as the No. 3-ranked Montreal Carabins blanked McGill 1-0 in RSEQ women's soccer at Stade CEPSUM, Friday.
It was the first loss of the season for the unranked Martlets, who dropped to 2-1-0. Montreal improved to 2-0-1 and leapfrogged past McGill into first place with a 2-0-1 record.
UdeM goalkeeper
Kelly Cantin, a sophomore from Greenfield Park, Que., registered a five-save shutout for the victory.
