OTTAWA -- Anders Bjella, a third-year midfielder from Milwaukee, Wisc., scored six goals, sparking the McGill Redmen to a lopsided 14-4 road victory over Carleton, Sunday, at Ravens Road Field in Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association play.

Alex Rohrbach and Spencer Bromley added two goals apiece for the Redmen, who led 4-0 after the opening quarter, 9-2  at halftime and 12-3 after three.

Rounding out the scoring, with one goal apiece, was Leland de Langley, Drew Laird and August Bolton.

Replying for the Ravens was Jay Gallant and Noah Hoselton, with two apiece.

William Waesche started in net for McGill and collected the victory, allowing two goals in the first half. He gave way to Jamie Spagnuolo, who was beaten twice over the final 40 minutes.

McGill, which leads the CUFLA East with an unblemished 2-0 record, will host Queen's (1-0) on Saturday, Sept. 13 in the Redmen home opener. Faceoff is slated for 2 p.m.
