Jean St-Pierre joined the men's hockey coaching staff at McGill in 1997-98 and has the unique distinction working under five different head coaching regimes with the team (Martin Raymond, Jim Webster, Kelly Nobes, Liam Heelis and David Urquhart).
During St-Pierre's lengthy tenure, the team has won seven OUA East conference banners (2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2018), five OUA Queen's Cup league titles (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2018) and one CIS national championship (2012), along with a CIS silver medal finish at the Nationals in 2011.
Prior to joining the McGill coaching staff, he guided the Dawson College Blues to a Quebec championship in the CEGEP league,
