Yannick Morin-Plante

Yannick Morin-Plante, a 34-year-old native of Drummondville, Que., brings 10 years of coaching experience in Quebec. He most recently served as head coach of College Bourget (2021-2023) and was on staff with the Football Quebec U-16 program (2022). Prior to that, he handled coaching and conditioning roles at College FX Garneau (2017-2020), École Saint Jean Eudes (2015-2017 and 2020-2021), College de Victoriaville (2014) and Academie Saint-Louis (2012 & 2014).

During his playing career, he was Calgary's third-round pick in the 2013 CFL Draft and spent that year on the Stampeders practice roster. 

At the university level, he was a wide receiver for five seasons with Laval (2009-2013), where he also served as a co-captain. In 39 regular season games at Laval, he caught 63 receptions for 730 yards and four touchdowns. He was part of five Dunsmore Cup league titles and three Vanier Cup national championships (2010, 2012, 2013). Morin-Plante graduated from Laval with an undergraduate degree in sports coaching, earning Academic All-Canadian honours, followed by a certificate in food and nutrition. He played high school football at École Marie-Rivier in Drummondville, Que.
