Laura Stacey joins the Martlets coaching staff for the 2019-2020 season bringing with her a wealth of expertise and playing experience. 

Stacey played NCAA hockey at Dartmouth College from 2012-2016. In her senior season she was captain of the team as well as the outright points leader. In her sophomore season she also co-led the team in points along with two of her teammates.   

Stacey has been part of the Team Canada program since her U18 days playing in the 2011 and 2012 U18 World Championships winning silver and gold. She was part of the 2018 silver medal Olympic Team in Pyeongchang. 

Professionally, Stacey has played in the CWHL for 3 seasons since 2016 with the Markham Thunder (formerly Brampton Thunder). In the 2017-18 season Stacey scored the winning goal in overtime to help Markham capture the Clarkson Cup Championship.
