A note from Coach StarrMcGill Redmen baseball has enjoyed tremendous success over the past 10 years, including 2 national championships, 3 conference championships and 6 national championship appearances.
Being a former player, I understand how much this program means to alumni and now as coach my goal is to enhance the experience for our current players.
We need your help promoting the McGill name and bringing in the top talent not only from Canada but from across North America as well. We're also looking to expand our season and play against top colleges in the US.
In order to achieve all of our goals, we're counting on alumni support through various initiatives, including the M Club. Please tune in for updates over the season and to received informatin on any events we are hosting throughout the year. Our Fundraising Priorities Batting Cage Project - $5,000
Our proposal to install a batting/pitching cage in the McGill Athletics building on campus has been approved! Our players will now be able to hit and throw indoors at their convenience 12-months a year. A team fundraiser and generous donations from baseball alumni and current parents raised the required funds Our most sincere thanks to those who helped realize our goal.
*Update: We are happy to announce that thanks to the generous donations of our alumni, we recently unveiled the new McGill Baseball batting cage in Tomlinson Hall! A big thank you to those that made it happen!

Our recruiting efforts have taken a huge stride in recent years. We seek academically qualified student athletes from across North America who have demonstrated the potential to play high-caliber college baseball. We have had success recruiting players by attending showcases across the US and Canada and hope to continue to do so to field the best team possible and compete for a national championship year after year
- Team Trip to the United States - $3,000
We would like to continue our annual trip down to the United States to compete against NCAA opponents. Not only does this provide us with the opportunity to play great competition and an invaluable team bonding experience, it also gives our program great exposure south of the border
- Equipment and Team Fees – $2,500
Redmen Baseball can always use a little help towards securing an off season indoor training facility ($1500), league fees for the season ($350), game bats ($100/each), and game balls ($75/dozen)
