2. Have your credit card ready. - All on-line services accept payment by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) only. If you don't have a credit card, purchase your services at Client Services (475 Pine Ave) where payment by cash and debit card are accepted.
3. Buying a membership. - Click on Memberships/Programs and look for the membership category - Membership-Staff/PD -(staff), Membership-StudentFC (Student Fitness Centre) or Membership-Cont-Ed (Cont-ed)). Click on View Programs, choose the appropriate membership type and length of term.
Newly admitted McGill students will acquire access rights to On-Line Services two-weeks prior to the official start of classes.
During the fall and winter semesters all McGill students are members of the Sports Complex (SC) by default but must purchase a Fitness Centre (FC) membership to use the Fitness Centre. Student Fitness Centre memberships are sold by one or two semesters (choose 2 Terms Fall and Winter) Don't be deterred if you see a red "Full" when you try to sign up for the two-term option. Scroll down the page and you'll see more open sections.
Through the spring and summer months, full-time McGill students must purchase a membership in order to gain access to the Sports Complex and Fitness Centre. Only the month of May and full summer memberships are sold on-line. All other student membership categories are sold thru Client Services.
Staff can choose between one month, 8 and 12 month terms on line. Additional terms are available through the Client Services office.
Please note that memberships are updated nightly, so there may be a 24 hour delay before your ID card reflects your newly acquired membership.

4. Monthly memberships. - The posted start and end dates of monthly memberships purchased on-line initially begin at the first of the month (ie: September 1, October 1 etc). Rest assured however that within 24-hours your membership will be re-calculated correctly based on the date you registered and the length of term you chose.
5. Towel Service and Lockers. -
- A towel and basket service is available on a sessional basis (September 1 until August 31) to all McGill students and Sports Complex members who wish to store their athletic gear at the gym.
- Locker rentals for the session can be purchased Online or at Client Services. Monthly contracts are sold in Client Services only.
To purchase on-line click on Account Info/Lockers and View/Rent Locker and Rent a Locker. Choose > Auto Assign Locker Number > . Make note of your locker number and click on the button Session/Session Start/End Date/Rental Start/End Date/Expiration Date. Choose Add to Cart and continue through to complete payment.
6. Registration for Fitness and Recreation classes. - Click on Memberships/Courses and select the appropriate category ie: Fitness and Wellness, Dance, Aquatics, Martial Arts, Staff Fitness etc. Select the course you want and click Add to Cart. If you're ready to pay, proceed through the payment process. You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful registration.
7. Registration for Intramurals. - go to Recreation and click on the appropriate link.
8. A charge of $1,000.00 is a mistake! - If you are faced with a $1,000.00 price tag do not proceed, it means you are in the wrong section and are not eligible to purchase what you have chosen. You can go back and try again or call the Client Service office (514) 398-7000 ext 0273 for assistance.
9. What isn't availiable online?- Refunds and some membership types and terms are only sold/processed in Client Services. Other services like buying a day pass, rec activities card or updating your personal information must be done through our Client Services office.
