MONTREAL – Three different players scored and 
Maude Desroches posted an 18-save shutout as the Montreal Carabins skated to a 3-0 triumph over McGill in women's hockey at McConnell Arena, Thursday.
 
The result was a fourth consecutive win for Montreal, which improved to 36-60 in 96 lifetime meetings against McGill.
 
It was the third straight game where McGill was stymied by the opposition goaltender. The shutout sequence now sits at 210:03 since the last Martlets goal, by 
Mia Giles, at 9:57 of the second period against the Carabins on Nov. 5.
 
Defenceman
 Jade Picard scored what proved to be the winning goal at 2:50 of the first period. The visitors doubled their lead less than nine minutes later when forward 
Marie Terriault connected t 11:01.  
Kelly-Ann Nadeau, another rearguard, completed the scoring with a power-play marker at 7:32 of the second period.
 
McGill goaltender 
Jade Rivard-Coulombe made 26 saves in a losing cause.
 
The game featured 11 penalties with U de M connecting on one of four power-plays, while McGill went 0-for-5. Montreal had a 29-18 edge in shots on net.
 
McGill (2-7-0) will return to play on Nov. 18 with a home game against Ottawa (). Puck drop is slated for 3 p.m. The Carabins (5-2-2) will travel to Bishop's on Nov. 19.
