MONTREAL --
Connor Tannas of the McGill University men's badminton team has merited first-team all-star honours in an announcement made Wednesday, by the
Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec, as they released their major awards winners in advance of the upcoming individual and mixed team championships.
The three-day RSEQ championship meet opens on Friday (March 8) in Quebec City.
This is the second all-star laureate for Tannas, a six-foot, 140-pound native of Calgary, who enters the championships with an 11-13 record in men's singles this season. He was a second-team honoree in his freshman year. The 21-year-old philosophy senior is the first member of the Redmen to make the first all-star team since 2015-16
