Katia Boulianne made 30 saves as last-place Carleton stunned No.4-ranked McGill 4-3 in RSEQ women's hockey, Sunday, at McConnell Arena.

The Martlets fell to 2-2-2 while Carleton earned its first win this season, improving to 1-4-0.
"Clearly not the same performance, not the same pace, not the same urgency that we had in Friday's game (against Concordia)," said head coach
Peter Smith, whose team still managed to outshoot the Ravens 33-16. "Every team in our conference is worthy of respect. We didn't play up to the level that we need to be successful."

Nicole Howlett of Delta, B.C., opened the scoring unassisted for McGill at 18:03 of the first period. It marked the 10th career regular-season tally for the six-foot psychology senior, who has 15 goals in 149 games overall, including exhibition play.
Leah Scott equalized for the Ravens at 14:55 of the second period but things quickly went south for the Martlets in the final frame as Carleton posted back-to-back-to-back goals.
Jenna Morais struck first on the power-play at 4:10, followed by
Jordyn Pimm at 8:14 and
Katia Boulianne at 12:44.
McGill then came to life withtwo goals but it was too little, too late.

Kellyane Lecours made it a one-goal game with just 13 seconds before the final whistle.

Amanda Hadwen was beaten four times on 12 shots in a losing cause. The 5-foot-7 neuroscience junior from Ottawa was pulled for an extra attacker with just over a minute remaining, which paid off with the Lecours marker
McGill was 0-for-3 on the power-play while the Ravens tallied on one of their two chances.
Next week, Carleton (1-4-0) plays Ottawa (2-2-1) on Nov. 15 while McGill (2-2-2) will host the No. 2 ranked Montréal Carabins (3-2-1) on Nov. 16 in a 2 p.m. faceoff at McConnell Arena.
