Both teams had 35 shots on net, with Concordia dominating the third period with a 17-8 margin.
Emilia Cotter, a senior defenceman from Toronto, Ont., opened the scoring at 5:11 of the first period. It was the first goal by a McGill rearguard this season, as forwards have accounted for 27 of the team's 28 goals.
