McGill University Athletics

The McGill Tennis Team is a perfect opportunity for competitive players to pursue their tennis careers at the university level, while enjoying the world-renowned academics of McGill University.

We play tennis all year long, train hard and compete against the best varsity teams in Canada, and occasionally the US. We strive to be the #1 college tennis team in Canada. Most importantly, we are a family and we share some of the most memorable college memories, both on and off the court.


MCGILL TENNIS TRYOUTS 2019-20
 
Competitive players interested in joining the McGill Tennis Team for the 2019-2020 season must participate in the tryouts taking place on August 31st & September 1st, 2019.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: August 28th, 2019 (Wednesday) @23h59
 
TRYOUT FORMAT:
- Saturday, August 31st: You will be assigned a specific hour between 9am & 3pm. You'll be evaluated based on a 45min "big warmup".
- Sunday, September 1st: About 16 men & 16 women will be asked to come back between 9am & 3pm. You'll be evaluated based on point situations.
- About 12 men and 12 women will be selected as part of the 2019-2020 McGill Tennis Roster.
- A detailed schedule of the tryouts with everyone's allocated time will be sent via email a few days before the tryouts. 
- Raincover: In the case of rain, tryouts will be held in the Fieldhouse in the McGill Gym (bring your student ID to access the building). This will be announced the morning of on the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/606537826506718/).
